Rebound Buffer Set

Since I'm going to be having the whole front end off my 76B, I was thinking about lowering the B all the way around 1". On looking in Moss and Victoria British catalogs, I see that Victoria British sells the rear springs for #149.95 a set while Moss wants $149.95 each. Any problem anyone knows of here with the Victoria British parts since they are half the price. Also, Victoria British says that the rebound buffer set has to be replaced while Moss says nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As Popeye said, "Ya gets what ya pays for."

If you bottom the car out so much that it hits the rebound buffer - you've got serious problems!

Moss springs might be made in England and Vic Brits might be made elseware. Notice I said, might. Why dont you just get a set of 1 inch lowering blocks for the rear, ( I think Moss sells them ), a set of early limiting straps and a set of early coil springs for the front? I might be wrong, but I think that will work. Some of the other fellows might know. Hey Doc, Tony !! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif PJ

Lowering blocks on rear works great..& the Moss lowering springs on front also...yep, you'd need the chrome rebound straps....I've sold several setups like that....another thing you might want to look at is the chrome rear shock arms.

Tony, What's the difference between the early and late rear shock arms? PJ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

length - the early ones are shorter...shocks are the same but from the spring perch tp the joint is different
