At last I'm on the home stretch. After four years of fun (and a lot of blue language) I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Sunday was spent refilling the car with fluids and checking for leaks - all good after I remembered to put the fuel tank drain plug in!

Carbs and ignition had been rebuilt and bolted on. With no setup I decided to turn the key and see what happened and to my amazement she fired first time (admittedly only for a few seconds before stalling). So next weekend will be getting the carb and ignition setup right.

She's booked in to JME in a few weeks to do the final fit and paint for the external bodywork then its just lights and interior and I will have a drivable car again.

Whoopee!

YAY!!! I know you're beyond chuffed!

Nahhhhhh,

Go the Revival................you'll love it!

You are indeed right. The brain said Revival but the fingers typed Festival of Speed. The Revival is my 'Target'.

A big 'Thank you' should go out to Basil and the rest of 'Team BCF', without this Forum and all the expertise within I would have thrown in the towel a long time ago. The search facility has saved my bacon more than a few times!

:thankyousign:

Have fun !!
