Re: Reason to wear seatbelts-or that will live a m
Seatbelts are usually good but not always. One night in the 60's I went off the road with my TR4 and went airborne. It was dark and I could not see but it felt like the car had stopped so I unbuckled and opened the door to step out. It was a long way to the ground which was a freshly worked field. The car proceeded on its own and flipped three times in various ways. Had I still been in the car I am sure I would not be here today. As it was I had no injury of any kind.
