Has anyone used a W/W rearend and converted it to disc wheels so they could use wider tires and wheels and would you need anything other than shorter axles.
 
You'll be limited by the leaf spring. It would be easier to adjust the backspace on the wheel. Diamond wheels will make whatever backspace you want with relatively inexpensive steel wheels.
 
So what IS the proper amount of back spacing ?
