TR2/3/3A Rear wing fixing clamp Stan Part # 602167

I'm sitting here looking at a rear wing fixing clamp, of which I have two (2). From what I have been able to gather it goes on the upper rear corner of the rear wings. Beyond that I have nary a clue. I also have, what appears to be some sort of tie in strap fixed to the fender at the rear bottom of the wheel arch. I guess thats what it is right now they are both bent into something approximating a Z shape. Since I did not take these wings off the car I have no idea how they should look or attach.
Your answers treasured, comments read and noted and all thoughts appreciated.

Cheers, Tinkerman

Sorry, I can't seem to find the photos. The clamps go inside the rear fenders, in the top rear corner. The captive nut gets a bolt from inside the trunk drip rail, while the end of the clamp goes against the fender flange where it looks like there should be one more bolt. The bolt is a special bolt, with a very low dome slotted head. The book shows flat washers to go under them, but the factory didn't seem to actually use the washers (probably because it makes the bolt head more likely to rub against the trunk lid and damage it).

There should be a matching tab on the frame for the fender brace. The brace itself should be flat (except for the stiffening rib along the center), and horizontal when fitted.

Here is the one, bad photo I could find. This is from under the car, looking straight up into the cavity with the top of the photo being the fender and the bottom the body of the car. The clean black thing is the drain tube for the trunk drip rail.

Hi Dick. Like Randall I was sure I had taken pictures of this area then I put the car back together, bit I can't find any. If nobody else is able to find any, I'll try to take some of my car from underneath. As I recall it is attached to the last two holes so that the bracket acts as a clamp to hold the fender because there is no access to use a screw into a captive nut. Cheers, Mike

Here's a picture looking up under the drivers fender well. The black hose is the trunk drain, and is the rear of the car. The ends of the bolts are the screws Randall mentioned, and go along the ledge of the trunk. You can see the last hole goes thru the little bracket and it sort of clamps the very rear of the fender tightly near the tail lamp. It is more obvious when you look at it in real life than a picture.
