Rear view mirror question

Now that you are an expert, build your own, heh.

Ahh, but you could do it your way at your speed.

I'm the one with the spare Eversure M661 mirror. Send me your mailing address offline to my email below. I will overnight it to you.

Chris strikes again, good going Chris. Worthly project.

My mirror glass was broken also I went to a craft store and found a mirror for table decoration. It is 1/8 inch thick, then went to a glass store and they cut it for me.

Chris is the man of the hour. Thanks you so very much, and thank all of you for the support and encouragement you've shown throughout. It's truly the very best part of this project. You're all examples of Christmas spirit all year long, and these girls will remember your generosity every time they remember 'Team Sprite."

Brian

Mirror dispatched DHL overnight, you should have it tomorrow. Picture attached. It _IS_ the correct OE mirror, you have my assurance.

Whoo Hooooo. Wave for the pic old ugly guy.

*snort*

Brian, If it means anything: EVERY restoration I've ever done has looked at the end as if it would be impossible to do again, and yet I've done 'em for years.

It's well that the human brain has no 'memory' of pain, per se. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

You've imbued your 'kids' with a mind-set to benefit them the rest of their journey, for sure.

Next class should do a chrome-bumper MGB! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

A decient runner to start with. I think you would find that would be a whole different experience.

Actually, an old friend just sent me some photos of a 57 Isetta Cabriolet he is thinking of parting with. I don't know, looks like a Harbor Freight tool box on casters, or one of those all weather igloo doghouses...too soon I think, and a very different kind of cute.

Hmmm... Old Italian, fun but could be a can o'worms! NOT engineered like old British!

Yes, I stand corrected, Germany it was (and I think BMW too, but not sure)!

Mirror installed! Very scary drilling through that brand new paint (put tape down first) I have no idea where the original holes went to. I couldn't locate them from underneath. Anyhoo, looks great, thanks Chris,'
