after installing new rear springs the car just lookts too high not that classic 3000 look ,springs have been on the car for about 5 yrs so waiting for them to settle isn't working ,someone said that one can take off 2 of the leafs to lower it any other sugestions

The lowering blocks are really easy to make yourself and you may not need to change out the u-bolts if you've not dropping to much.

BTW - Austin Healey's were made overseas :smile:
 
I think you are on the right track by taking a leaf or two out. Do the springs compress now just holding up the car? If the springs are too stiff , shims won't be the answer. Kevin
 
reae is very stiff when i hit alittle bump the whole car shakes very annoying i even have putszkes shok kit
 
I have one side of my car that is about 1 inch higher than the other. Would a shim work on that. How do you make them and where do they go. I want to lower the one side to match the other.
