Rear Suspension Pins

Hello

Can someone tell me how to remove the rear suspension pins from my BT7 i.e. the pins at the rear that do through the bottom of the shackle? The spring and shackle are off the car but I need to remove one of the pins as the previous owner has installed one the wrong way round.

Thanks

Myles

There are threaded fasteners on both ends; square-cut on one end and tapered on the other.

If you can't get them apart after removing the appropriate nuts, heat the shackle part (not the pin) to expand the metal and that should break the bond. Either impact (protecting the threads) or the act of expansion and contraction should free the pin from the shackle.
