OK, I've had plates fabricated and welded onto the front spring blocks. Hopefully I've gotten them squared up; used the new springs that have the bush in place to square, tacked with the spring bush in place prior to welding the plate.

The question is, how do you compress the spring, once you install the front bolt, to get the spring into the rear shackles. Gary Mills, I know you just did this and you e-mailed me the info, but, I still can't figure it out. HELP!!!

Thanks!!!

Steve,
I put a hrdraulic jack under to center of the spring or a little to the front of it. When you jack up the spring it should flatten the spring and push it toward the rear shackle pin mounts. You may have to play with the jack position to get the spring to move the right way.
