TR6 Rear Spring

I just removed my rear springs while doing some other things. There is most likely a better way but I pulled the axles and with a floor jack under the trailing arm I removed the nut holding the shock link and let the jack down. Then the spring just fell out.

I removed the 4 bolts in the diff flange and the 6 hub nuts then pulled the axle out. You might want to do a search on the hub studs to learn about their tendency for the studs to strip the threads and pull out. This would include the proper torque and the repair to upgrade the threads in the trailing arm.

What Tom said and do it his way or a real big chance it will fly out and hurt somebody.
Getting it back in without at least taking the bolts loose on the rear end is no fun. Pulling the axle out is a good way to grease the U joints and slid axles as you can't get to them easily.
