Rear spring removal problems

Don't be too harsh on the manuals -in the days before online forums (and that's not that long ago!), they were all we had!

...& most likey still all we use...I have several copies of the Bentley's laying around the shop - both the green & 'pink'....they're placed so they're easy to get to, & looking just now, every car with an open hood has a Bentley laying on the front fender...some are dog-eyered & have their covers held on with binder clips, some are almost new.

...I've also got all the Haynes but they usually just sit on the bookshelf in a corner unless there's something in the Bentley I don't understand or just isn't there.....the main thing I use them for is their illustrations - they do have a few that are decent.
 
I have found the words and the pics in the orginal Bugeye shop manual are the win.
