Rear shocker for 1976 Eclat

Hi all
I have a 1976 Eclat 201 that needs a new rear shocker. Lotus want £120 each and S J Sportscars want £60. As we know Lotus use every one elses parts so does any one know whose shocks Lotus used as they are bound to be cheaper.

I was hoping there would be an alternative parts list but it does not seem to exist.

Terry, welcome to the forum! We don't have a lot of Lotus guys (yet), but always welcome a new Lotus driver! I'll ask around some of my connections on this side of the pond and see if anyone I know can answer your question. Do you have any pics of your Lotus (We have a mambers gallery here).

I can't help you out on the shocks but wanted to tell you I think the Eclat is a very cool car!

Other than the shocks hows it run?

Can you go aftermarket for the shock instead of through lotus?
