Rear seat backrest pictures

Hello All

I am looking to see if anyone has pictures that they could post of the rear seat backrest
and how it goes together.
I believe that there are two thin metal plates that get mounted into the lower corners between the wood frame
and the vertical upright back piece.
But then I believe that there are two L-brackets with rounded edges that go somewhere.
I am not sure where the L brackets go.

Thanks

Hi Tony,

Hope these help.

Jedi thanks for the photos.
Perfect!
Any idea on the L-bracket is for.

Hi Tony,

Well, I tried by could not get a good picture of the "L" bracket. The "L" brackets are fixed to the wood vertical and the interior quarters slide in and are captured for support. Support for the back panel is provided by the bottom wood screwed into the seat platform with side support provided by the wood verticals with "L" brackets capturing the ends of the quarters.

Hope I am clear. If I do get a chance, I will try to take a picture.

Hi all
I don't want to hijack this post, but does anyone have dimensions on the back rest? I have to make one for my BN4. I can measure from the car but I want to be sure.
Cheers
Matthew

Thanks GregW

That is just what I was looking for regarding the L brackets.
As I look at he pictures, I have 1 more question.
How were the metal plates that show in the corners and the round metal plates fastened to the backrest?
Again thanks for you help.
