I'm now getting to put the interior together and I'm a bit stumped as to what the jump seat area is supposed to look like. Right now you can see the fuel tank and the seat part above the rear axle is bare metal. I assume there is some kind of backboard covering the tank but what comes next? A picture would be great but a description will do
Much appreciated.

It's just a board, covered with padding and vinyl. Sorry I don't have a pic, but here's the drawing from the parts catalogue

The backing piece is available from TRF and possibly Moss as a separate item. You should be able to get it to match your interior colors if your interior is stock colors. When finishing the interior of a TR4 with the surrey top( hardtop),one has to use the TR4A rear piece.
The seat bottom was optional . I have rarely seen one. But I do have one that has been recovered in a wild multicolored material.

Thanks all. From Randall's drawing, it looks like Peter is right. $200 is a bit pricey for me at the moment but I'll put it on my watch list and see if it comes down.

Al,
Are you looking for the back board ( #60) or the seat bottom (#61)?
Charley

Hey Charley
Once I knew what I was looking for, I found the backboard in the pile of carpets and trim pieces that I must have bought in 1998 when I started the restoration but before I quit. Filthy but fortunately no mold or mouse damage. A little cleaning vinyl conditioner will bring it back up, I hope. (tips on this much appreciated)
The seat bottom would be nice but it has to match the rest which is dark blue with white piping.
Thanks for your interest. I'll have pictures soon.
