Rear Hub bearing removal

Kevin, there is a whole thread on sagging rear quarters being fixed through adjustment to the *front* suspension. Have a look and see if you can find it, if not I'll search, but I don't have a bookmark handy.
 
Thanks Duncan - I checked that out. Front suspension needs to be gone through as well as I have play up there, so if this doesn't fix it, that'll be the next spot. Springs definitely weren't even, I had them rearched for $40. Hopefully that at least helps the situation, and the tweaks up front can finish it up.

I hope to take it up to the St Ignace car show (just to cruise around in all weekend, she's nowhere near show worthy) on 6/25. I need to get the rear end in before that one :wink:. The front will have to wait until later this summer/fall. I'd like to get some drive time in. It's bad, but not *that* bad.
 
Quick note to add that flipping the drum around and putting a large wrench handle between the axle housing and the drum, slowly tightening the nuts (I did all four to keep it square) till it "pop"s, keep gong until the bearing is flush with the wrench handle. Take the drum off, wrench out, drum back on and nuts on only a few turns and yank (lots of them) it the rest of the way. Worked great.
