Latley i had the rear end of my 79 mgb rebushed with poly bushings, now it ssqueaks like crazy, any suggestions.

Rampant:
This is a frequent complaint, there is a special lubricant that should have been used and can be used to stop the squeak, In some applications I have read about, grease fittings have been installed to simplify lubing these points.I purchased a complete Kit and the special lube was included, but if you shop around or talk to the installer they may have a source for the lube.--FWIW---Keoke

Hey Adam, that is a good idea. Rampant, just get a tube of graphite used to treat locks and give the bushes a little dose.---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

While you are at it, please note that some of the bushings have a shallow groove to facilitate the lubrication with a small package of lube included with a set from some suppliers. If you are lucky, you may have bushings with a shallow groove on one side...which would be groovy, huh? (GROAN)
