And Socket Size is 1 7/8'
Thank you -- I bought the same manly 3/4 socket - 2" wide. It gets bite on the driver's side, but the passenger side is rounded off. I have a box wrench that will get around it, but it will need some additional "influence" to get it to loosen up.I bought a very manly 3/4 drive socket set from harbour freight and the socket had just enough bite to get on the nut. The nuts are handed so they don't loosen while driving - so, they will both loosen towards the rear of the car.
all that's left is to impress your friends.Thank you -- I bought the same manly 3/4 socket - 2" wide. It gets bite on the driver's side, but the passenger side is rounded off. I have a box wrench that will get around it, but it will need some additional "influence" to get it to loosen up.
I figured the nuts would go against the motion of the wheels, like a bottom bracket on a bicycle. It never hurts to ask first, though! Thanks for your help!
Fantastic! and I presume your daughter loved it as much as always? After all the work, "Baby Blue" went back on the road just in time for my daughter's Spring Break and we quickly blew threw a tank of gas over the course of a weekend. Other than a few very minor squawks, the car is running great, maybe as well as I ever have had it running. There's still a couple of small tweaks to do here and there, but the car is ready for another driving season. As usual -- THANK YOU -- for all the support and advice!
Yes, she did. We blew through an entire tank of gas just zipping around the back roads near our house.Fantastic! and I presume your daughter loved it as much as always?
