Except for solid discs with MGA dunlop calipers behind 15" 48-spoke wire wheels! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Actually the Dunlop brakes would only come on the cars with the knock-off steel peg drive Dunlop wheels.

Through which it is quite hard to see any brakes at all:

The regular MGA (and MGB) had Lockheed brakes, but I share your sentiments.

And also on the Twincam. There is nothing better than a well tuned Twincam on song. I like my MGA race car so much better with the Twincam than pushrod, and of course it is also considerably more powerful.

All I'm going to say is this: there's nothing cooler looking than drilled and slotted discs and huge calipers behind bespoke alloys mounted on low-profile tires. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

Pssst - Camshaft - many of us are not driven solely by what might LOOK cool, but by what actually works.... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

You don't see ME with 4-wheel discs and alloys, do you? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

nah... there's nothing cooler than 80lb 24" gold plated wheels on an MGB... ;P

I meant front brakes! My MGA has drums in the rear.

Yes - and they are Lockheed, not Dunlop.

I think that they would look very cool through a nice set of chrome wires, or a nice set of alloy center locks.
