Rear disc brakes on a Midget

Would like to know if any members have gone to rear discs on the Midget have seen the set up on the PeterMay web site but he's the the other the of the pond! Later Mark

I built a set for a MKII a few years ago. They were ok, but the work I went through was a lot. In the end , I feel unless you are really driving your car hard..like on a racetrack(and it has to be a very wicked track and car) you don't need them. There has never been a time when I was driving on the street and said "danged I wish I had rear disc. I do drive pretty hard on the street sometimes but most times I only drive hard on the track.

Same here. I drive hard on some California mountain roads when I'm there, and after upgrading to "performance" rear shoes, I feel I've got plenty of brakes.
JR, you would love Waterford Hills. 13 turns in a mile and a half. Rear discs can be appreciated there.
