Rear Diff mounts upgraded

I got the car down to my welder friend today.
It was sunny and dry also, so no problems with an open car on an open trailer.
He welded in the side pieces that I went ahead and bought from TRF. Just a little grinding to fit, and of course alot of cleaning before welding. I added a round piece across the bottom of the original mount to repair the crack that was starting there on the right side. I will post some photos, when I jack the car back up to put the rebuilt differential in.
Don(DNK) stopped by, just in time to help roll it back on the trailer and to help troubleshoot a 850 Electric start Norton, that my welder, who also restores and wrenches on British bikes needed a hand on. Helps pay for the welding bill.
We then came back home and POR15'ed both cars floor pans.
So hopefully tomorrow we can start carpet on the red car.

Paul- You seen one bare floor pan ,you've seen em all.
Was thinking on the drive home. No photos ,boy is Paul going to chastise me!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif
