Rear Bushings

The rear end of my '74 Midget seems quite loose. I believe the original spring bushings are to blame. I've replaced the front suspension bushings with the poly bushings. Does anyone have any suggestion for the rear? So far, I've only found them on the Victoria British site and, at first glance, they seem quite expensive.

Has anyone actually found that rebushing the rear suspension (semi-eliptical) really does much? Just curious.

I've been told the front rear spring bushings are a bear and avoid messing with them but the rear bushings are relatively easy to replace. I have the bushings but have not tackled it yet. Just got my cylinders so I'm starting to rebuild the rear suspension and brakes.

Thanks everyone. The front bushings are a bear but with a lot of patience and hours of hammering, cussing, and pressing, they do come out! The new ones go in much easier and make quite a difference in handling.

Since I've totally rebuilt my front suspension and am planning to rebush the rear springs, I really won't know what made the most difference, but I know it will be better than what I had before I embarked on this work.
