TR6 Rear bumper on TR6

I pulled my rear bumper last night. Hopefully, I get the tail light assemblies off tonight, so I can pull the rear wings on friday.

Anyway, when I took the bumper off, I noticed that the passenger side had caged nuts on the side and rear mounting points.

But the driver's side was held on with a traditional nut and bolt set.

Is this right or did a PO replace part of it?

Thanks, I just wasn't sure which was the right way. Part of me was thinking that it was supposed to be like that, so you could have a little more adjustment.

Jack,

You are correct. The caged nut provides the adjustment.
