Leaky axle seal just made me replace rear brakes. While there I decided to do the wheel cylinder as well. After some bedevilment, I discovered that the "spring plate" and "distance piece" go on first from the handbrake lever side and then the "locking plate" goes in the middle of the other two from the opposite side. I had forgotten this in the 13 years since my resto.

That's good to know about the rear cylinders as I may have to replace the rear axle seals my self soon. How big a job is replacing the seals?
