Rear Axle Shafts #

Is the shaft for the stamping of a factory hardened rear shaft


ETA 806 EN17?

Or is is this just a later shaft, think?

Patrick, those are just the later shafts. The hardened ones are marked BTA 940.

The easy way to recognize the later shafts is the grove around the end of the shaft about a half inch out on the splined end. The early shafts don't have the groove.
