Hi folks,
I have in my restoration notes that the LH side nut turns clockwise to loosen, or said another way, opposite the way the knockoff loosens. Could someone with knowledge (they have actually done it!) confirm or correct my memory? Thank you!

See Moss catalog, "Rear Axle hypoid type" section: PNs 311-590 "Nut, L/H thread (on L/H side)"; 311-580 "Nut, R/H thread (on R/H side)

Addendum: yes I've done it and can confirm. IIRC, the nuts are also marked "right" and "left" or something similar.
