Rear Axle Fluid Fill

Trying to refill my diff fluid after replacing the pinion seal and having a bear of a time. Using a rubber hose but the fluid doesn't flow too well through it. I found that although the rear axle fluid capacity is fixed, the garage floor fluid capacity is almost limitless. Any tips that you guys use?

Use a pump(a few bucks at Harbor Freight) and heat the fluid (while still in the container) in a pan of hot water.

I have used an oil can with a thumb lever pump.

They fit a qt. bottle, so if you buy a gallon you'll need a qt. bottle too, and have to refill it, oh, about 2.5 times (total 3.5 qts.).

If you have an axle shaft out jack up that end of the axle tube and pour it in.

Over this side of the pond the bottles of hypoid oil come with a built in spout, just pull it out, shove it in and squeeze.
