MGB Rear axel torque?

Hi, I have a simple question. What should I torque these to? I don't know what they are called so could not google.

Torque at the size of the bolt. If those are 5/16” I would do 16-18

It has been an ongoing source of confusion with my friends who are used to working on American cars (where pretty much every fastner has a published torque specification) to see that the older British cars leave much to the mechanics judgement, with only some of the key components specified.

Can’t find a post on how to replace a axle on 1952 mgtd. Is there any special tools that are required before I start the job?
