Thanks for confirming that - the more I looked at the photo, the more it looks like a Snug...were all the factory MGA hardtops aluminum or were some fiberglass?
 
I am normally over in the Triumph forum, but thought to check here as this afternoon I spotted a rubber bumper MGB being trailered. I was hoping it was being rescued. Where was I, rural eastern NC of course? Hwy 13 near Spiveys Corner. This one did not look nearly as challenging as these barn finds.
I am torn between asking about the TR 3 or the white MGA. So you won’t think I am a total heathen from the TR side, my first was a 61 MGA.
 
early A's had alloy, late A's (MK11)had vinyl covered fiberglass. I have a rough one in the barn, I'll try to get a photo.
 
Are these parts for sale or was he just giving you a tour? I am in desperate need of a 1500 parcel shelf frame in one of those coupe carcasses...though I can't tell of they are 1500s or 1600s pictured...
 
There is a Aluminum hardtop on e-bay now..lots of $$$$$
