Nice Doc, Great to see young talent perform at their best. I always wanted to play the piano, but never got beyond Chop Sticks! :highly_amused:
 
B flat clarinet here but switched to piano, as there was no place on a clarinet to set my CAB down. :smirk:

I wanted to play Sax, but ended up with Oboe!
By the way Doc, haven't you ever heard of Ron Popeil's Clarinet Cab Holder? :nana:

I tried my Aunt's oboe and made the quick decision that one reed was difficult enough. You have my admiration.

Gotta look into that CAB holder!
 
Ravel's "Bolero" will never been the same since the movie "10."

Also, Peter Schickle (sp?), or PDQ Bach, once said that the ultimate punishment for a percussionist was to be assigned the snare drum for Bolero.
 
That is a favorite of mine, but Ravel really took that one phrase and milked it for all it's worth.
