TR2/3/3A Re-start after total restoration

I have sockets, but I couldn't get it to stay on while I turned it with the socket handle. I have to take the head off now as the adapter "O" rings might be the source of the leak?

The goods news Dick is it started up. I find getting the engine running nicely is to read the spark plugs. At this stage, while broke down, I would pull the plugs to have look; I bet they are rich will carbon, maybe the front of the engine a little more. I keep them in order, so I can see the correlation with the carbs. New motors are tight and hard for me to understand where to start to get them dialed in; heck it could psychological and I am slow on understanding what optimal performances is and just being confused the car is running, so anyway just my 2 cents.

Thanks Steve,

I converted the filter to a spin-on so, might have crimped and O-ring. I also had a hard time finding a attach head for the 2. Finally found one on Ebay.
I have ordered a Quickjack for the 2 and my Boxster. It will be nice to set it up outdoors after I have the new gasket and O rings installed. That way I can crank it up and watch to see if I have solved the leak. keep your fingers crossed??
