'66 BJ8 - I've decided to replace all expansion plugs with the motor in the car. As far as the scope of the work, I'm pretty clear on what needs to be done. But I'm not sure if once the air cleaners are removed, the carbs and manifold can be removed as a single unit or do they need to be separated before removal? No point in having bits and pieces all over the garage floor if not necessary.
And once the upper exhaust has been disconnected, do I have easier access to the lower manifold bolts? It's very difficult to see that part of the manifold with an inspection light and mirror. Thanks!
