I am building a body of a 73 MGB to use as a hill climb car.
Im thinking of gaining power by installing a different motor, something twin cammed.
Has anyone had experience in doing such a modification?
If so I would welcome any good ideas

I use a GM 3.4 V6 in my MGA (which has a Fiberfab Jamaican body). Fits pretty easily in an MGB. You can buy kits to fit them in an MGB.

If you want a modern DOHC I4 engine, look at the ecotec. The 2.0 in my Solstice has been tuned to 375 bhp, but you can get a non-turbo version if you prefer.
