Ratco anti-sway bars and coil-over rear shock

Now that the supercharger is installed and working well, my idle mind is looking for another project. Is anyone running the Ratco coil-over-shock IRS rear system, and their front and rear anti-sway bars?

Right now I have a stock TR6 front bar on my car, slightly uprated springs all around, Konis in the front and the Blind Moose tube conversion in the rear with KYB gas shocks, and urethane bushing all around. I'm pretty happy with the setup, but there is still some body roll that I'd like to reduce. I'm running 165 tires on wire wheels, and I'm considering going back to alloy wheels and wider/stickier tires, so the roll is only going to increase.

If I don't install the coil-over shock conversion, I suppose I should make the extra brace for the Blind Moose bracket, as shown on Bob Danielson's site. My spring towers are in very good shape, so I don't think the coil-over conversion will be a problem.

I have the shock in coil kit for the rear that I will be installing in the upcoming weeks. I did not order, at this time, the sway bars, but likely will do in the future, I like his design.

If your springs are lowered however, make sure to talk with Tony and get your kit made for lower springs so that the shocks wont bottom out before the bumpers hit. I've got mine built for 1" lower springs.

Thanks, Justin. I'm at stock height, but good to know.

I would probably start with just the coil-overs at first, and add the bars later as well.

What are you running right now for rear shocks?

the Ratco kit comes with Monroe Sensatrack shock that fit properly inside the rear coils.

Hi Justin,

I was wondering what you have now, still levers, or some other tube conversion?

I'm going from armstrong lever shocks to the shock in coil conversion.

Cool. Let us know the installation goes, and the result.
