I removed the two u-joints from a TR250 drive shaft that were installed in 1968, over 40 years ago. It was a real pain in the behind. What was interesting is other then the rubber having gone bad, the u-joints were in great shape. I also removed all rust and now in the process of painting, put in the new u-joints, then into the car.

Real exciting stuff... :tired:

They will look at your Triumph in awe, the same way that the cavemen did when a traveling bronze salesman showed them the advantages of what would become the bronze age compared to the stone age. In the future, they will speak in hushed voices about the fisherman and his beast who appeared out of nowhere and brought them into the light and showed them the way to contentment.
