Thank you for requesting information on the Rallye To Reno in June. If you've visited www.RallyeToReno.com recently, you'll see there are now over 250 people showing an interest in participating in this event. You are spread across 36 US States, four Canadian Provinces, and five countries outside North America.

Lots of great things have already been planned, with more in the works. If you're adventurous enough to start at the beginning, in Ocean City, MD, we will get pictures under the Boardwalk sign at the eastern end of US50, before setting off for Washington, DC and the first night's stop in Winchester, VA. Our riverside accommodations in Cincinnati hold promise for a great stop. In St. Louis, we've arranged with the Gateway Arch to allow us special parking, and a photographer with a helicopter to get a picture of this special moment. In eastern Colorado, Pikes Peak is only a few miles off US50 and makes for a spectacular side trip. In western Colorado, the Durango Silverton Railway is rated among the best scenic railways in the country. (If you're interested in a scenic train ride, please contact us as we'll need to know the level of interest before arranging this trip.) As you approach Reno, running with so many other MGs will be an unforgettable experience.

Following MG2011, the trip across US50 continues all the way to San Francisco, making this truely a cross country MG trip of a lifetime. For those interested we'll be spending two nights in San Francisco, which should give you enough time to dip a toe in the Pacific, drive down Lombard Street and stop at Fishermans Wharf.

Moss Motors, Victoria British, and other sponsors will be bringing amenities to the event. Moss will be sponsoring the rallye plates and other car signage, and more importantly arranging for a parts truck to travel with us across the country. Victoria British will be sponsoring a BBQ Dinner and open house at their location right on US 50 near Kansas City, Kansas. We're still arranging a few other things, so we'll send out more info on some of them later. A few things we'll keep as surprises for the event itself.

Join us for the entire Rallye, or run with us as we pass through your neighborhood. Registration for the Rallye to Reno is now open at www.MG2011.com. You do not need to register for MG2011 to register for the Rallye to Reno. Cost is only $35.00 per car to participate, and will include a numbered metal rallye plate, other car signage, a complete listing of hotels, a tour guide of places to see and things to do across the country, and quite a bit more. <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #FF0000">If you've registered already, you will be receiving the hotel list within a week or two. </span></span>
