Raising the Rear

In a post awhile back Dave Russell explained how to raise the front by putting 3/4 inch spacers on the spring seats, I believe. Is there a way to raise the rear. Mine, a phase 1 BJ8, has new rear leaf springs and rebuilt shocks, but still sits almost an inch low. The rear springs are from Moss and the ride is improved over the original worn out leaf springs, but they didn't raise the car back to the 27 inch ground to top of wheel well level. Ideas???? Having recently pulled off my exhaust driving into a friend's driveway, I could really use that extra inch.

I don't know of any good, "easy", way to raise the back. Having a spring shop rearch your springs would be best. Possibly, if you could stand having stiffer springs, adding a leaf would help.

It only takes one mishap to learn to approach obstacles slowly & on an extreme diagonal. As for how I know, see attached pic.
