Hey guys,

Hadn't been on in awhile, mainly because I've been out and enjoying the car! Here are some pics from earlier in the summer when me and my wife got surprised by a flash rainstorm in upstate NY. Had to keep the speed up to not get wet!

Also, I just took the car in on Tuesday to get my rusted rocker repaired, which turned into a quick respray of the apron, which turned into a respray of the whole car... ie mission creep! Excited to see it in in new paint, as it's been almost twenty years since it was painted last. More importantly, I'm glad to be talking care of the rust.

Gavin, great to hear from ya. You know you coulda brought the car to my garage and we coulda painted it! I love to exorcise rust. I've got all the cutters, grinders, and saws and welders to do it.

The car should look real good now. Let's see some finished pics. :driving:

Finally got my TR3 inspected today, and was out driving around. It's running good and was able to keep the temps in line with the new fan. Maybe one of these days we can get the three black "3s" together...You, Brian, and myself.

Definitely Art, we gotta get the three 3's together. I think we need to come up with a tough sounding name for our gang as well. It would be super cool to see 3 black 3's together.

I finally got the car registered in NY! The tipping point was the new color scheme for the license plates- they remind me of the vintage 60's plates, and they go better with my car than the white & blue ones. Here's a pic of one for you non- new yorkers:

Yeah, the three a-three-gos... Brian has vintage plates on his TR3B...black and yellow. It definitely looks better then my blue and white, but I didn't want to spend the extra $25 to line DMV's pockets for the new style plates. :hammer:
