Eastern Oklahoma is WET, WET, WET! Might rain all week. 8 inches has fallen in some areas so far and more to come. Fortunately our farm is high and dry, well, maybe not dry, but not flooded as quite a few other folks are. Roads are flooded that haven't flooded in many years. Quite a few are shut down. It's a mess. :frown: PJ

Paul, been wondering all winter if you are getting rain.
The weather channel has shown some rain in yur area during the winter

Don, we had one of the warmest winters in many years and only had snow once, about an inch, it was gone the next day. In my last post, I said we got 8 inches from this storm, we just got an update and our town of Locust Grove and our neighboring town of Salina got 11 inches, the highest recorded in Oklahoma. There were so many roads flooded, the DOT ran out of barricades to close them. Fortunately we live on high ground so 11 inches of rain is no problem for us. Sorry to say some folks were not so lucky. PJ

It has also been a relatively wet winter here. Or more accurately after 7 years near drought, we got a slightly above average winter. Great winter for skiing!
It has also been really COLD. Just got the biggest electric bill ever, more than twice my winter normal. I was positive that they misread the meter, but no, I used nearly double the amount of electric from 1 year ago.
