Rain Leak In Footwell

I never purposely drive my vintage cars when it's raining but I was recently at an Antique Automobile Club of America show with my '63 BJ7 (got second prize!) and when driving home it suddenly poured heavy rain (typical for Miami). I felt water dripping on my legs so I'm wondering where I should be looking to stop such leakage in the event of another sudden storm. Any ideas?

I had that problem once and it turned out to be the windshield wiper gasket on the shroud. I suppose you could get some through the windshield rubber gasket too but it would seem that the water entering there would get stopped by the "trough" on the shroud which is right behind the rubber gasket.

Go the closest second hand store or Bed & Bath and purchase the largest towel you can find..-

Check the windscreen to body seal and the windscreen washer mounts.

I've never not not got wet when driving a Healey in the rain.

Maybe too many 'nots' there! What I mean is...when it rains, I've always got wet in a Healey.
