Are there any markings at all on the bottom or sides? Should be a model number like 4BTR4 on it somewhere. I'm away from my radio info at the moment, but maybe someone else has it handy.

Markings as follows:

Side: 7SMTR and 3615 stamped in it, together with an inked number B2192.
Top: label with polarity info and the following number stamped into it 15D43170A01
Back: ANTENNA TRIM ABOVE 1400 K.C.

That's it.

A bit of poking about with Google seems to show that the 7SMTR was made by Motorola in 1967 (and possibly later). These radios were typically dealer-installed options only in North America, so would have been used in any Triumph sold here at that time (TR4, Spitfire 4, Herald 1200).

The wonders of google. Now I just need to find some original knobs.

Thanks
