Hi, I have an aftermarket car radio that I would like to have repaired. It is a transistor radio from the 1960s which has a selector switch for either positive or negative ground. Does anyone know of a good radio shop?
 
As someone who ran a "TV shop" many years ago, I can say a "radio shop" good or bad no longer exists. I would think if you searched long enough online you might find a place that could look at it. Try searching "vintage radio repair" and see what happens.
 
There is one who advertizes in our club newsletter, but hopefully there is one closer to you. Otherwise I can pass on his contact info.
 
Also you can look for a CB or aircraft radio repair station. A lot of folks that repair those radios know how to repair old car radios. Just a suggestion worth checking. PJ
