WANTED: A Rootes radio fitting kit [WR-9] for a 1964 Series IV Sunbeam Alpine. Have the radio, need the fittings to install it into the car as original. Photo available of what I'm looking for. Contact: Ralph Gerkhardt, Mountain Vintage Radio, mountainradio@goes.com
 
Odds are against finding one, they are quite rare for some reason. His best bet might be calling junk yards that advertise breaking Sunbeams or watching for a parts car that has one and the scrapping or selling the remains. Even on the specialized Sunbeam sites, folks can't find them. I've seen asking prices as high as $1000 for a complete setup and one that looked like it had been runover for over $250.
