Don't mean to steal Ray's thread but thanks all for the info.
i found a low profile Spal fan on line and ordered it. i figured i would give it a try first. And if i still need to do something about the radiator, well i will still use the fan. should get it Tuesday and put it in this week.
i am thinking though..... if a recore is about 600, maybe go with a radiator from AH Spares and just keep mine with the car. i know it will be missing the tags for shows but i am also missing the generator...(alternator conversion) my top tank is not as straight looking at yours. mine started deforming just pumping water in it during the flush. i had to watch how much flow i had going in.
