MGB Radiator cap missing

I guess I haven't been paying attention as I've just realised that I have no filler cap on my 77 MGB radiator. I assume I top up/fill through the expansion bottle.

Does anyone know why this was designed that way?

They went to a pressurised system. While the thing is stone cold, pull the top hose and fill both the rad and block (thermostat will be closed so expect that to be a PITA), then the bottle.
