Radiator Air Deflectors

Help I have fallen and I can`t get up!!!!!! I cannot for the life of me figure out how the air deflectors for the radiator go on the car. Neither of my cars have them and I wanted to put them on the one I am restoring. My guess is that they go in front of the radiator but I don`t see anywhere to bolt them on or anything to bolt them to. Does anyone have any idea how they go on the car. Skip

Skip: Those things are useful - they keep the clean air coming in through the grille from being shuttled out through the wheelwells. As I remember, they mainly bolt in with the bolts that hold the grille on. Try it and you should see a pattern in the air deflectors that matches the grille on your car. As I recall, a couple of them were hard to manage, but not impossible. I will look again tomorrow when I get my car out again. AL Bradley

I think I have them figured out I thought they bolted to the inner frame somehow but I think they bolt to the shroud instead. I don`t have to worry about thm untill I am installing the front shroud. Skip

Skip,

Here are some photos of how this goes in. They get painted black and the X support gets hand brushed black.

Two nuts/bolts on top. Two on the bottom. And connected together with the support.
