I waited for this painter for a year and he is good. I did the panel beating I thought was necessary. I can still see some of the original english wheel roller marks telegraphing through the glossy black, so he didn't get them all.
Yes, the original livery is being replicated. The original driver has provided me with lots of photos as well as the number templates and his original racing logo. I have most of the period decals recreated ... just a mock-up here;

I know of a Triumph gut, Frank Manning, who has a BRG TR4 with 42s. They are very rare as have been out of production for many years, so he told me.
I have seen that track test before in a collection, Brooklands I think, great to know the car is being rebuilt and cared for!
