I always thought Bob was simply a quiet, unassuming Allard driver and did not know he was famous in a different right! As they used to say in the old Superman comics: "Beneath that mild-mannered exterior is..."

Yeah, I didn't know either for a while.

I have an engineering colleague at the college.

He's a car nut but he's *really* a bicyle nut (he rides 50+ miles almost every day).

He was checking out some of my web pages one day when he saw Bob's name mentioned. He told me the whole story about Bob.
