Nice! And personally I would be very proud to say that I had lapped a racecar in my daily driver (even if it was on the I-85 (which I wouldn't mention)

:iagree:

In fact, I'd say, "I went around him like he was on a trailer"
Nice pic Paul.

Peter,

How'd you see that?I can barely make out that there's lettering
on the truck.

Not the same Creighton. The #53 is Jim Creighton's (Longtime SCCA ATL region and SEDIV Icon) old F-Production Racer. The link is to Phil Creighton's business. That picture must have been taken on the way up to Virginia International Raceway back in October for the 2010 Prodfest SARRC Regional Race. Joe Downer out of Charlotte was racing it that weekend. Creighton's long time mechanic "Posey" was probably driving the box truck.

Have been racing against that car for 20+ years. I've know Jim and Toni Creighton for 30+ years. Toni raced the #77 Bugeye for many years in SCCA.

Jim rents the car for races. It might be at next month's SCCA drivers school in Savannah at Roebling Road.

HTH,
Mike Miller
