TR2/3/3A R&D completed on Tr6 fan conversion

For the best fan conversion, I can now state with certainty that while you can use a Tr6 fan onto a Tr3/4 hub,
It is way too much work. The Tr7 fan is a 45 minute job. easy peasy. The issue is the inner diameter of the
Tr6 fan makes the Tr3 hub require a lot of work and some welding. No reason to fight this dragon

Yes, thanks for confirming. Just for sake of good order, I presume you are speaking of the red TR6 13 blade fan - using the adapter?
Also, what sorta welding was required on the hub?
