Hi Randy - I've actually had her for several years now but once I got under the primer I discovered sill issues and a replacement inner fender that wasn't done properly. Best I can figure she took a hit to her passenger side at some point, but the frame looks OK so it couldn't have been too bad (I'm sure I'll regret writing this).
She's fairly solid, but with lots to sort. She needs all the basics in terms of suspension rebuild, and the "new" gearbox I had put in was of course skunked. Grrr... Anyway, she's a feasible project now that I know what I know from learning the hard way.
One thing I do need help on is sourcing #59 on the drivers side. Mine mounting point for the link is oval shaped and it makes for some interesting handling to say the least.
Some pictures as bought.
Now keep in mind that they were all bought cheap, with reasons as it turns out. LOL. Here it goes. as it stands today the '74 TR6 and the '80 TR8 are on the road and will be used a bunch once the weather cools a bit here. The '71 TR6 is basically my training wheels, in that anything I need to learn how to do which has a significant risk of my irreversibly screwing it up gets done on her first, hence all the welding. The TR3 could be back on the road soon if shipwright's doesn't take over, which it 99% likely will.
This TR4 could be a couple months worth of work to get back on the road, but we'll see. I actually miss driving her the most for some reason.
The plan was to get them all running and driving in a good way and then decide which ones where going to make the cut for long, long term ownership since I can't keep them all.
Anyway....
